We knew the day at One13 North, the bar was crowded, yet Doug and I were the only ones in the room. I remember Ray looking at us both smiling from ear to ear, with his pink cheeks.

That evening I receive a text from Doug, "Great night". I respond, "yeah it was". We go back and fourth for many minutes with nothing to say, for the first time our words were stuck.

The night was no different than any other, friends hanging out. We were so oblivious it was there the entire time.

We have shared so much with each other, yet his respect for our friendship, there was so much I still did not know. After this moment, we let it flow. Naturally we began to see how much we had in common and how our differences made each other stronger.

Summer wedding because we love the sunshine, the 21st not only because 2021 did our relationship explode into abundance, June 21st is a full strawberry moon.
